Llangollen International Eisteddfod

Established in 1947 the principal aim of the international eisteddfod was to provide a platform for people of all nations to meet and communicate through the international languages of music and dance, thereby promoting peace harmony and a greater understanding of word culture.

It is one of the world's biggest global celebrations of music and dance and is to play host to a glittering array of new and established international stars at this years annual festival between the 8th - 13th of July 2008.
